You might want to consider installing it first.

As this patch does not seem to automatically install how would anyone who does not read the forums ever know that improvements might be available?

Having said that I imagine those playing without forum advice and mods would probably have given up by now!

There is a file called 'gu' in the following location, you can just run that.

SH5/Support/Gameupdater/ directory

it should autopatch..
