(Meager Scraps, Being Fed to Us.) is a very common term used to describe "having little to nothing given to you" which describes very well the situation of how much info has been given, or rather not given to us about the game so i believe something was lost in the translation there from one style of speech to another because there was nothing rude there by my understanding

just goes to show that depending on where you are from, the same words can have different meanings or be recieved differently
