Thx
Here you are:

http://files.filefront.com/Foam7z/;1.../fileinfo.html

Just unpack it to your MODS folder in JSGME and enable it....I haven't tested it yet but seeing as how it's only a texture file (see post by Dowly also) it should be fine.

Any problems, simply disable it

Thanks guys, but much of the credit for this mod goes to captain DUVAL who made the tga.files.
Duval is the mind and the leader of GRUPSOM!
D&D is for DESGA & DUVAL

Just wondering, if jaketoox has changed his username to captain DUVAL?

Try compare the texture files in the misc folder with the very same from SH4 ROW mod provider, jaketoox, and his mod: ROW_New_Seafoam_from_Jaketoox
Released in this thread:
http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=130150
And still available here:
http://files.filefront.com/ROW+NEW+S.../fileinfo.html
They are exactly the same, only converted from dds to tga.
I see no where in the readme nor in this thread that the textures were made by jaketoox originally. In fact, quite the opposite.

Though the idea of using seafoam textures for the wakes is an original idea, the use of the textures is not. That tends to be plagiarism.

So much for recommended modding etiquette...

5 seconds to create and name a folder, 20 seconds to zip it up, then 2 minutes to upload

I like the look of this texture. They look great in screen shots.

I don't like how they look in real time though in calm seas. There is too much action in them, almost too many squiggles or something around the sub. It looks too turbulent until the wind gets to 8mps or so,then they fit better.

I don't suppose there is a way to implement these textures so they would be used by the ships only and not the subs. Subs are so streamlined and I don't think they would make so much turbalance around the sub. Maybe behind it but these textures make a wide turbalance which fits the bigger ships better.
