01 October 1941 Grid Square ET13 Refitted with Corrientes on 18 September. Moderate success against merchants in DT grids, reached assigned patrol area off Freetown. Please advise other boats in the area of the increase of enemy air patrols around Freetown. Estimate another 18 days to Lorient. ~Steinadler
