install also the FX_Update_0_0_22_Torpedoes (modified for torpedoes failure patches) if u don't wanna use any other mods or mega mod like WoS
make your list like this:

FX_Update_0_0_22_Torpedoes (modified for torpedoes failure patches)
NewUIs_TDC_7_5_0_ByTheDarkWraith

how to use the tdw's generic patcher click here
i really suggest u to use Sober mod list or TWoS
Sober mod list here
TWoS mega mod here

PS. Read all the instruction from each other if u decide yourself to use 1 of them as THEBERBSTER said above watch also the TWoS install tutorial link is in his post.Check also the folder structure of TDW's UI if it;s correct in that folder must be DATA and Documentation folder and some TDW's .dll files

now i have a question for u what sh5.exe fixes u mean ???? do u mean the tdw's generic patcher ???

Common mistake...One or two mods can hardly fix all broken aspects of stock SH5... . Lightly modded SH5 is nothing but a waste of time and I can't really think of any reason why would anyone play it instead of SH3/SH4 (again modded of course).
Good luck in your campaign though...
