Default What are your favourite video game cutscenes?

I would post mine, but YouTube is blocked on my network due to some idiot* watching too many YouTube videos and nearly destroying the network

That's ok, we can look up Halo cutscenes on youtube ourselves, I'm sure.

This is my favourite:

Fell off my chair on that one.

Intro movie for Janes USAF:

If only the rest of the sim lived up to it.

EDIT: And I'll add the obvious SH4 intro movie. It was, and is, the most artfully done simulation intro movie that I have ever seen.

*Prepares witty response*
*Looks at games shelf*

One of my favourites is the opening to Empire Earth. Nothing can match it for epicness.

One of my least favourites is the opening one for Zoo Tycoon 2. JUST GET TO THE DINOSAURS ALREADY!

Are you OK Takeda!? I'd hate it if my perceived lack of gaming variety caused you any bodily harm!

Yeah, not many games introduce themselves with poetry, that's for sure.

If only SH5 had such an opening.

This is how the Silent Hunter franchise ends, not with a bang, but with a whimper.

Here's one of my favourites from Halo 2, because it lets you see things from the alien's point of view:

And here's the opening to Empire Earth:

I can't help but let the intro for Shogun 2 play out whenever I start it. Never get tired of it.

Hehe, 4 Commodore Amiga games and 1 PlayStation game. I feel very nostalgic with the Amiga games.

I also like the intro of Shogun TW the intros and ending scenes for the Fallout series are fairly good as well.I did not like the intro to New Vegas as much though.
