Hi everyone!

I have bad news for You... very bad ... my graphics card is broken ... Yesterday while I was restarting my computer... my computer started with 800x600 resolution... and now it can't render any 3D animation... That means I can't develop my mod .

Yes, I have to get new one... but I want to buy good one... but good ones are expansive... and I have now 2 problems:

1. I don't know what card do I want to buy (my options are: Radeons: 7850, 7870; Nvidias GTX: 550 Ti Boost (my mistake I was thinking about GTX 650 Ti Boost ) , GTX 660)
2. I have only 1/3 of needed money (220 PLN; I must have sth around 600 PLN to buy good one...)


But, possible is, that in start of October I'll get some money from my town because of good marks in school (scholarship...), so, if I get more than 300 PLN... I'll be back .

Bought ATI 7870 card 3 weeks ago and here is part of the reason why:
Cost me $195.00 USA dollars.

According to videocardbenchmark.net, among the videocards you have mentioned the one with best passmarks is the Radeon HD 7870, but it is also the most expensive; I would rather go for a GeForce GTX 660, with about the same performance but costing 20 USD lesser. The cheapest videocard is the GeForce GTX 550 Ti, but considering its comparatively poor performance it is no worth its price anyway. The GPU with best performance/price compromise is the Radeon HD 7850:

Your comparison is good, but you looked for GTX 550 Ti... I'm looking GTX 650 Ti Boost... not 500 but 600. And version "boost". It's little better than Radeon 7850. But I know that Radeon is great for OC (then 7850 has performance of stock 7870).
And prices... Remember I have only 70$ now... so I have to wait now . But if I'm collecting money, I'll be able to buy some good card... And we have to remember, that Radeons 7850 and 7870 (1GB versions) have end-of-life status... maybe better is to wait for Radeon 9000 series (October), and for riposte of Nvidia - cheap GTXs 750 and 760... But now I'm waiting, collecting money and have enough time for thinking...

I have great news! I bought new graphics card, GTX 650 Ti BOOST OC . That means I can still mod SH5 game !!! So now I have to ask You - I have a little problem:




I don't know what should I place in red frame: more and more salamis, bananas or meat? Or sth new? Please tell me... I hope new version will be released before starting October ...

Yes, hanging food in QR1 is really enough... but I'm going to add more food in Command Room, like in FlakMonkey's interior. I'm going to improve beds in QR2 too. I'm also planning to improve engine room.

About more crew... in theory I can join my crew mod with that mod... but first I have to improve crew mod... for eg delete people from deck (outside), make new crew's animations using object tracking etc...


After that I'll work on II type.
