SH5 still a complete mess

I tried I really wanted to enjoy SH5 but it just doesn't want to run for **** on my install and I've really just given up. The 3 min load times from an SSD are about the same as they are from my USB external drive. So what is the sim doing? Nothing. It just loads, then erases files, loads, erases stuff memory. Its just poorly coded to be sure.

What does it do when it gets loaded it lags and it gives all sorts of graphics artifacts.

As pretty as the water is, that is about the only thing SH5 has going for it.

I think I'm going to go back to SH3 GWX. I'm pretty sure there is a lot of stuff there after having gone away for a year that will bring me right back.

Does anybody know is there a real nav mod for SH3?

Sounds to me like your graphics card is either too weak or you need to update your drivers. As for the load times,i've seen a let's play and the load screen took up almost 5 mins. I guess it depends on your processor or maybe ram,though i can't be sure about this.

9800 GTX+ 512MB it runs the game fine. Latest drivers, I have the antilag fix installed too.

Could use another gig or two of the Vram and that probably is the issue, but I have Q6600 and 4 gigs of ram on a clean win 7 install from last week. That doesn't splain all the other "features" of SH5 which never finished up and its just, I don't know its just so shallow of an experience. Every 5 minutes there is a new tear in the realism experience and its just like ok dont look now but there is abig puff of smoke coming out of the ocean, and over here ok dont look there cuz its a ship that has been matching your course and speed for the last 2 days, or oh no dont dive here cuz that destroyer is going to pound you right on top for 4 hours and nail you even though you are 150m down and totally silent.

One after another after another issue. I'm just tired of it. I thought I'd get over it but nope. Its just not worth it. On the very first mission, the english destroyer with a Polish flag. I mean how did that get through quality?

Oh yeah Ubisoft. LOL

I understand you frustration and I agree with you. Lack of official patches and game fixes is taking a toll on SH5 even today...

Ah - you must be talking about the Polish mine layer that was added to the game by our ever hard working modders

with this type of feedback there will be nobody working on this game soon

You could at least have posted your mod list so that others now what crap mods you were using
