Woman suicide bomber kills at least 14 at Russian station

(Reuters) - A female suicide bomber blew herself up in the entrance hall of a Russian train station on Sunday, killing at least 14 people in the second deadly attack within three days as the country prepares to host the Winter Olympics.

The bomber detonated her explosives in front of a metal detector just inside the main entrance of Volgograd station. Footage shown on TV showed a massive orange fireball filling the stately colonnaded hall and smoke billowing out through shattered windows.

This is just terrible. A few days ago, these 14 people most likely spend Christmas with their loved ones, now they are blown to bits, 14 families destroyed...

I was referring to the Caucasus region more specifically different groups of these land have never been fully loyal to Russian/Soviet/Russian authority.

Also the previous scorched earth campaigns carried out but Russia served only to spread the fire not stamp it out.Of course as I said this fire has been burning for a very long time and the scorched earth method has thus far failed.Now it is a very nasty situation leaving many people stuck in the middle.
