:rotfl:Never did like "The Boss" much, anyway. Sounds too much like a character out of Grand Theft Auto.

I liked born in the USA. this thread got me thinking though...It seems to me that most politically active famous people tend to always support the democratic ticket and have a great dispassion for the republican party. I have seen this since Regan. Not sure why though?:hmm:

Did you like it the same way Reagan liked it?

Because Republicans seem to prefer their celebrity supporters to run for office. And because they are usually artists, and artists are liberals, by and large.

I'll tell you. The left is more inclusive of many different people be it black, gay women or whatever. The right only cares about white straight protestant people that live in the south or midwest for the most part. The south and midwests WASPs (white aglosaxon potestants) just aren't the only parts of the nation. In fact they are becomming fewer and fewer.

Go ahead and flame me as usual but the only music entertainment that caters to nationalism and good old fashioned Jesus and whiteness is country music. Country has been going down rapidly in popularity in the past several years. Country stations have been going off the air rapidly and being replaced by spanish language stations.

Just ask the Dixie Chicks, they found out first hand how redneck country music listeners are.

DT, wasn't the boss around GTA? I know whatcha mean though. I liked a few tunes, not an album listener though. I still like the "single" days with he centerpost on the turntable so you could stack up a dozen or more singles.

The "Boss" went off the deepend IMHO when he broke off from the E Street Band.

Sigh.

Springsteen still plays with E-Street.
