Renown for damaged ships?

Hello fellow kaleuns,

I was wondering, is there a renown-reward for damaged ships?
It wouldn't have been the first time that I had to leave a crippled ship alone, being out of torpedoes. The ships would have been seriously damaged, and out of commission for several months (if they would make it back to port at all). But I believe there is no renown awarded for this?

You should only get renown after you receive the message "She's going down"

It's too bad really! Crippling a ship surely must've taken it's toll on their performance

True, it can be dead in the water but still able to float and if your out of fire power or you can do is.

Select big stuff and sink it, sod the rest.
