You truly are a graphics connoseur (sp?) if you are complaining about the way that trees look in a submarine simulation! :rotfl:

I would complain about the lack of fish!

hahaha my thoughts exactly.

trees are modelled this way in a number of simulations... take a look at the trees in FSX... most of them are two dimensional crossed images.

im not really sure what to say about the look of the trees... since i spend less than 1% of any given patrol within sight of any land.

i dont think that addressing the look of the trees was a high up priority on the GWX dev team's list of things to do.

my recommendation would be to go to the mod forum and [REQ] request a new mod that provides life like vegitation on shore.

Tis always a trade off
Eye candy versus FPS hits

If you update the tree visuals it will impact on frame rates in areas with a lot of vegetation

I think most ppl would rather have extra sea\air units slow down FPS than trees you rarely see

What about tree-hugging Kaleuns? Don't they count for something? And how come they are not rewarded from abstaining from sinking tankers to avoid oil spills?
