That Zany Harbor traffic!!

Kaluens,

They're at it again with their crazy antics... yup you guessed it!

I'm sailing from Lorient December 27, 1942. I hear an explosion, as I scan the harbor I notice something strange.

WTF?

Ok so..maybe Bernard was at the helm?

As I steam further out of port I see something burning in the distance on open ground. F12 and I close with the unknown bonfire and guess what was the kindling!?

Yes its 2 109's spooning...

Its bad enough I have to worry about the Allies... now this in harbor mayhem and carnage. LOL!! :rotfl: :rotfl:

Well.. you see.. tonight was the harbormaster's birthday, so all the boys all had a few rounds and toddled off to finish their duties. Next thing we know, Bernard is parking a destroyer in a sub pen and we recieve a radio message from the Luftwaffe that says "WEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE !!!!"

I came back into Wilhemhaven from my the first patrol of my career last night, it was night and pouring rain, so terrible visibility. Just as I start to enter the harbor, I reach for my cup of tea, turn around, and BOOM- there's a freighter parked right across the entrance only a couple hundred meters away!!! Emergency reverse and I manage to slow to a 2 knot collision. I don't know who decided it was a good idea to park a freighter across the entrance at night, in weather, but I can think of more effective means of protection. From the enemy.

I did much the3 same thing only I nearly plowed my sub into the side of the Graf Zeppelin that suddenly, unexpectedly appeared out of the fog

Also, that Sperrbrecher trying to get into the subpen thought there was an air-raid drill going on....

It is you guys who drive the harbour people to distraction and desperate of relief. Of course the 24/7 dock band playing the Kadeten Marsch over and over sends people around the bend. :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

I think that destroyer captain wants to really command a U-boat, or is trying to be one:hmm: .

As for those flyboys at the Luftwaffe, im not really surprised

Kaluen BBWooly,

As a rule NO.

But I think I did that time. I was tired and just finished refitting and the game just finished loading in port and I saved. :hmm:

Hi!

That could explain what happened. Saving and restarting in or anywhere near a port causes all of the AI-controlled ships & aircraft in the port to forget their pre-planned movement paths, so they just keep going in a straight line. The general result is that ships and aircraft collide with whatever is in front of them: the shore, another ship or aircraft, etc.
