Looking for a stable list of recommended mods

Apologies for beating a old horse to death, but could anyone please share a list of mods that could be run together stabely for career?

I have loaded a few and all was well until I hit the K button for Captains log when it froze.

Any pointers appreciated. I am at the point where I am spending more time mixing and matching mods to try and get a decent playable experience rather than actually enjoying the game.

Defiance, you keep jogging my memory.

With all the requests (or curiosity) for mod lists these days, I kept wondering "Wait a minute! Isn't there already a thread for that?" So I checked my old favorites that I still had and found it.

Maybe it's time for a (stickied) new one with those three you pointed to starting it off and maybe FiFi's and Sjizzle's added too.

I was going to ask the same thing. Thanks. I've really been trying to find a supermod like RFB or GWX 3.

I actually installed JGSME and then activated Open Horizons II version 2.2 that I found on silenthuntermods.com, but even after restarting my PC, I don't see any changes within the game. Maybe I'll try to download the 2.5 version from Subsim, deactivate 2.2 and load that one.

I was crashing in the past with some of the other ones, but this version seems very stable for me.
