I haven´t seen planes in SH3

I am in my 6th patrol, may 29 1940, and yet i haven´t seen a plane apart from squadrons of german ones at Wilhelmshaven. I suppose thy do not fly with bad weather because that has been more of my 70% of playing time. (I´m an expert in sinking ships without seeing them because of this

)
I do not want to engage them, but it seems strange.

I began my carrer with GWX 1.3 and then moved to GWX2.1 in my 5th patrol.
