I have to point out that self-censoring has nothing to do with the rules, especially when "bastard" is not a proscribed word. I also have to ask where you personally would draw the line? Allow asterisks? Allow funny "comic-book swearing"? You know, stuff like &$(*@!)? Remove the rules altogether and allow anything to pass? If you would allow asterisks but not real swearing, why not? I don't have answers for most of those questions, but I'm curious to see what others think.
