Doesn't SH5 already have those? SH4 did. In fact there would be no SH3 lifeboats mods if SH4 hadn't paved the way. Same with waterstreams.

Default more debris = +

yes I think this would add to realism but not only do I want to see wood
debris scatter threw the air and hit the water then slowly float down...

Dead Sailors Mod ? I would imagine a Hollywood mod updated to sh5
would be lovely so new animated flying/floating sailors to look more realistic.

there is something very unrealistic when observing a torpedo hit in that
watching the sailors walk around on decks instantly vanish after a fish hits the hull
where they are walking near.. close observations will show other sailors oposit side
of ships impact act as nothing happened at all... no running & jumping off etc..

I would imagine a few near impact flying threw the air in a swimming motion
then sailors that impact on water = slowly stop moving to a dead float then sink
like the lifeless boxed crate.

perhaps some that swim around the ship a bit before submitting to the cold water..

add some sharks to the mix and call it Terror of the Bloody Seas mod

Looks a little too cartoonish compared to the graphics of SH5. While it adds some immersion is kills some as well.

ohh in my opinion the original SH5 (like SH4) much to fast and mostly empty nut shell`s looks much more cartoonish

All the textures could most likely be easily replaced by better ones that came with SH5. It might take a while, but I am sure that it can be done. I might take a look at it.

It looks like it doesn't have an ambient occlusion map, which makes it looks flat. I don't think SH3 uses ambient occlusion maps, which would explain why it's missing. The reflection problem is a game engine problem with showing reflections of objects in .dat files.

Crap, you are most likely right about the occlusion map. However, there are occlusion maps for wood, and for people included in SH5. So, we should still be able to use those along with the corresponding textures to re-skin the stuff. Of course, that takes it beyond a simple re-texturing job.
