Default Assassin's Creed 2 and SH5 owners get free UBI game (merged)

Quote:
Following the recent temporary game server outages which may have caused disruption to some Silent Hunter 5 players on PC only, we would like to reward your patience if you have experienced any problems by offerring you a full downloadable game from the list provided below, completely free of charge.
Shaun White Snowboarding or
Prince of Persia

Unfortunately not interested in either. Would have been nice if I had been offered Settlers 7!!

Snowboarding? Prince of Persia? I suspect they are giving them away, because they are not worth selling!

Naah, they just figured that those kind of games would be liked by people
who by other "Action-Adventure" games like SH5.

Seriously tho, at least it's somewhat better than a ship skin...right?
It may not be worth much to most subsimmers, but at least it has some actual value.

What do you mean, you don't want a super awesome AI ship skin that you'll only ever see once?! Heresy!

Being able to play the game you bought in the first place, would be a far better gift.

Yup, I just got the email too, Maybe Neal should open a couple of new subforums devoted to Shaun & the Prince since it looks like we'll all be playing them now!

Pfft! There not gonna give you a game that also has the DRM. That would lead to an infinite circle of compensation.

Man o man they could screw up a wet dream over there...

First they take two weeks to actually get the email out, assuming they were preparing for the onslaught. Then when the emails do go out the frakkin server dies.

I agree with the PoP section... thats just too funny ! We can complain about the bugs over there too.

I believe UBI made very well, to provide us a FREE game (for our patience). I have bought other games and I have dealt with many bugs, which in the end weren't resolved and now these games are rubbish. SO I CONGRATULATE UBISOFT FOR THIS GREAT OFFER!!!!!!!!!!!

Next to the executives, they should also fire the server admins and web developers. Such a joke...

Hmm. Clicked on this thread, and 3 seconds later, an email from UBI dropped to my inbox

Prinse of persia sounds good, the first of that series was a groundbreaking game, seeing the guy do all the natural movements on an IBM w/ CGA/640KB RAM had me drooling !

Edit: Great, the link gives me 500 Internal Server Error !
