Mods issue

So after not playing silent hunter 5 for a long time i finally got back into it but it seems that the mods i have installed and enabled with JGSME arent working. For example: i have the 88mm railgun mod and critical hits torpedoes v1.1 which has become essential for me just arent working in-game.

Any help?

only does 2 mods have u enabled ? or u still have other mods too ?
i really suggest u to use TWOS mega mod click
and also tdw's generic patcher which one solve tonnes of bugs from vanilla version of the game how to use tdw's generic patcher click
also u can read THEBERBSTER thread which one is really helpfully click

PS. before enable TWoS mega mod read all the documentation !

im not using the TWOS mega mod. i don't like it. second yes i have about 6 mods installed and activated using a application ive been using for years JGSME. i dont need to update the game as its already updated to the current version 1.20.00 unless that updater actually does something.

EDIT: i updated JGSME so im gonna give it a try again.

Edit 2: tried to get mods to work on all versions of the game from 1.0.0 to 1.0.5 to 1.1.0 to 1.2.0 and they just don't work. its wierd i played it not that long ago and they worked fine. i must have these mods to play as it makes the game bearable.

So to try and get this thread revived im reposting here to re-ask why my mods just arent working. i honestly have no idea why one day the mods i had been using just fine stopped working.

you do know i can just tell you what mods i have active or even installed right?

• Invincible U-boat mod
• Steelvikings interior mod v1.2
• 88mm railgun (a must have for me)
• critical hits 1.1 torpedos
• reworked morale and abilities v1.1
• Paajtors_Renown_cheat (compatible with Equipment_Upgrades_Fix_v1_4_byTheBeast)

here ya go. much less complicated. what i find wierd is the fact that all my mods were working fine but one day for some as yet unknown reason my mods all just stopped working in game even though they are active.

Hi pandemic
You have a fragmented mods list based on the stock game.
The stock game is bugged without TDW's Generic File Patcher.
It seems like you have reached a point in your game where a bug has kicked in or you have a compatibility issue.
Not sure why you want to use this arcade mod

88mm railgun (a must have for me)

and then make the game harder by using this

reworked morale and abilities v1.1

This mod has a patch to go with it

Steelvikings interior mod v1.2

Unfortunately your mod list has no structure to it and that may also be the problem?

the 88mm railgun actually makes it fun and the morale mod makes it easier talking to the crew.

i installed the tdw patcher and it worked but after i installed it i tried my mods but nope, still no luck. my game is fully updated (1.2.0) with those mods below being the only ones active. im figuring it HAS to be a bug or something but i cannot figure out what it is.

Have you recently gone to Win 10? If they worked until you changed to Win 10 then open your Desktop shortcut? click on properties check for compatability.
Change to Win 7compatable and enable administrator at bottom.
That's a must for Win 10 with many games.

Win10 with SH5 should not need a compatibility mode.
Make sure your SH5.exe is set as an administrator.
