[REQ] Assigning a custom name to your sub

I tried a search but probably didn't use the right parameters.
With SH3 it was possible to assing your own U-boat number. I was wondering if the same is/could be possible in SH4, in that you could assign a custom name to your sub i.e. USS Crankycrew or USS Cinderblock etc.

Has anyone looked at this or is it simply a case of adjusting a line in a .cfg file somewhere?
