Default Can some great person help me with my chaotic mod soup?

OK so I KNOW this is a damn mess and there are probably outdated mods on my list but ok here it is : just upgraded to the latest Open Horizons and the latest IRAI version. No CTD for ages but now I am getting them .... many times when I dive.


ANY advice on things to delete and load order etc would be so helpful and I would welcome a great deal!

Use it to clarify conflicts in your "mod soup"

BTW, helluva list, are you sure you need all of them?
Seems to me that some have the same purposes/effects, so there is a lot of potential for problems...

for example, why do you use Dark_Interior_V1, Naights Submarine Textures (internal) V1.1 AND sobers gloomy sub interior SH5 on top of it?! Looks like overkill to me...

Most people are in too much of a hurry to do it properly. The way to guarantee mod compatability is to install one mod at a time and test it. This lets you see exactly what's going on and find out for yourself what works and what doesn't. I'm currently having a problem I don't like with SH3. The only real solution for me is to take them back out one by one and see if that helps. It takes work to get it right.

Thanks guys for your replies. I have been playing sh5 since launch but just couldnt face removing and testing and for hours and hours.

Will try the validator and hope that works!

follow orpheus's advice already adressed to you here : http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/show...68&postcount=5

- looking at your first two mods -- you can delete the second one as it is already covered by the first one...
- Cerberus merchant ships part 1 and part 2 are not needed if you use OH II
- Newer version of Trevally Harbour & Kiel Canal Pilot available
- newer version of AI_sub_crew available
- R.E.M_by_Xrundel_TheBeast_1.2 --- patches available


.....delete everything, start from scratch by looking at this thread (even if you are not a "beginner") http://www.subsim.com/radioroom/showthread.php?t=190656

...and then install additional mods one by one if you feel it is needed.....
