Default [rel] The Jack Benny Station!

Courtesy of Northwestern University.
http://www.library.northwestern.edu/

Sorry for the delay, tried to upload 3 times today........

It is ready for release. Go to the link at the end of the post to D/L. It has many hours worth of programs, each about 25 minutes in length. I couldn't believe how "timeless" this show was. Not for the politically correct crowd . I hope you all enjoy, and any feedback is appreciated!

Credits: Digital Trucker for his sagely advice, time and his RSM1.2. If not for this, I wouldn't even begun these projects. Fred for advice. Hopefully Lou Pinella and Jim Hendry for giving Cubs fans a reason to celebrate in October!

Installation: It is a compressed RAR file weighing in at 373MB. Save it to your DT and scan. Move it to your SH4/data/sound/radio folder. IMPORTANT: use RSM1.2, your frustration levels of repeat programming when you load a saved game will subside, plus you can make, edit your own stations. If you know how to manually edit the events file then you know way more then me but only one of the events files are necessary for the non RSM1.2 install. Set up RSM1.2 using the Import feature then apply changes when the events box gets populated. You're done!

Disclaimer:
I am not to blame for any problems on the homefront if your loved ones see less and less of you because of less time compression! Happy hunting commanders, do not let their ultimate sacrifice be in vain.....

I just love Jack Benny. He, Rochester and Phil Harris just make me cry laughing. What a great show this is and I owe getting to know this to this site and Ted Healy, it truly is great.

I'd buy THAT for a dollar:rotfl:

Funny you should mention Benny (whose real name is Alfred Hawthorn Hill) in relation to Jack Benny. Benny Hill chose the stage name Benny in honor of his favorite comedian (yeah, you guessed it, Jack Benny).

As for dying 'on the job', you could probably say that. He was alone in his flat, in an easy chair, watching TV. His postman delivered a letter that day with an offer of a new TV contract.

Update: This and it appears, all of my radio station mods are good to go in 1.5. I used a copy and paste of rsm 1.2 to the new version, but since it's not mine, I will let DT go over the way I jerry rigged it. Will let you all know....
