Here is a wip for memel
Don't use harbor pilot
Start a new campaign
Its down to 60fps on a 290 card in Memel

I will be only adding / deleting docked ships / mines . I wont be touching any of the campaign units or adding moving units because OH2 is not my mod .
Heading back into memel at night to see what it looks like .

Looking good!
Keep in mind that in in this type of games /simulations bottleneck is rarely graphic card...CPU is, and it doesn't matter how many cores you have because game engine doesn't know how to use them.
People also call them CPU pigs (FSX, DCS and probably SH5).

Update 05/09/11 v1.3
re-worked scapa for better fps
fixed subnets in scapa flow (thanks again TDW) Edit: When game first load the subnets will start with a few meter sticking out of the water. This will last only a few moment and the will sink to the correct level where only the floats will be seen on the surface.

Acording to this OHII update, subnets should be fixed, but unfortunately they are not...In my game they still have collision problem and they stuck from the shallow waters...It is most notable in Scapa region. I'm using latest OH.

From their posts Trevally and TDW tried to fix the subnet model. Aparently it was fixed for OHII 2.4 version...but I can't check it because the link doesn't work anymore. The model from latest OHII 2.5 does have the mentioned issues...

I don't think I ever modder this before . My sub crew seems to spot smoke at a further distance . Ships have much more smoke from there stacks in my mod so the spotting range needs to be further out . Might help with the pesky planes as well .

Hi Mates:

Iīm noobie with mods for SH5. I downloaded the Bonus Sobers "Mega Mod", but I donīt know where is an actualized list for activation via JSGME. Also, it seems the UI needs some additional work. Where could I find some help for this? Iīm reading the posts for SH5 modding but they are infinite!!!

Some help or guidance, please!

I downloaded the mods via Bonus Downloads. Now I start to put mods in my 1.2 installation.

Forget python scripts or anything else . Those days are over . That bonus mod is out of date . Use the latest MEP file I gave a link for and when using the mod enabler click on Tasks/Load MEP file . It will tell you what mods you are missing . Put all the mods folders in the mod enabler . Make sure you put the correct folder in the mod enabler . Check the image on the 1st post of this thread . Ther is also another great Mega mod called Wolves of Steel . Look at that .

Sounds like you might be referring to TDW's Options File Editor Viewer

My tutorial post #6 will show the correct installation.

Without disrepecting sober, as sober said the The Wolves of Steel mega mod is an alternative and is worth considering

TWOS is very easy to install with all the instructions on Post #1.

If you want to see SH5 with TWOS in action then my tutorial post #24 has all Shaefer's video's.

TDW's Generic File Patcher is an essential application that is also needed.
