Are you talking about the blue "lines" or the "red squares"? The blue lines for contacts will still be there (at least for now) the red squares will not, unless they have been spotted by a scout plane.

"if you have the time"....... This should have been done a LOOOOOOG time ago, it that gives you any indication of how much time I have. Sorry, I take full blame for this as real life has caused unavoidable issues. There are other factors, such as having to learn how to do it since I knew nothing about modding when I started, and a lot of time on experiments that didn't work (and some that did), and at first having to find all the files.

So easy to find them only because you know where to look. And the Campaign you are using to test with has the red squares to show you where they are. The IJN Campaign will not.
But you do have to keep in mind that several of your subs will have scout planes, which the IJN subs DID have. And once the US started invading the islands, it would make sense they could figure out where they were headed next. Common sense.
