Default Just met a fellow subsimmer

Met a fellow subsimmer for the first time today, although brief it was quite intresting and out of the norm, i gave him some CD's DVD's and also some files to read.

He also gave me a diagramme of the Trafalgar class boat which i will hang on the wall in about 5 minuets and i thank you for giving it to me!

All in all it was nice meeting you linton hope you have a nice read and also maybe hope to see you in london for the meet.

Kap nice to meet you.I had seen your photo on another thread so i knew who to expect!I finlaly got the tree stump out-I dont always wear paint covered trousers ,an old work shirt and a nato jumper full of holes, but my wife may tell you a different story! In fact I probably looked like a proper diesel boat submariner.
Your file on the kursk is very impressive-you really ought to host it on your own website.
I will watch the dvd etc later this week when i get a quiet moment.
Neal,I don't know how often your readers meet up informally but i met a really nice chap today-i hope you liked the picture Kap,have you spotted the rhino yet?

The best thing i think out of the whole day of driving there was the fact i didnt hit any traffic on the M25 or at Dartford i scraped through just in time, 35 minuets home and took 45 mins there (how that worked i dont know lol)

But my back aches lol and work tommorow, and u finaly got that stump out if i dont ever see a tree or plant again in my life time it will be too soon, but in saying that im proberbly back on the green waste again tommorrow

For the benefit of subsim members I live next door to a girls school.900 young women-not all of them are ladies, from 11-18 years old.I am sure they teach attitude to the older ones and dodging moving vehicles. It is very easy to type away on here to people all over the world who share a common interest. When they turn up on your doorstep looking young enough to be your own child the words dry up a little!I am sure I looked like a geriatric tramp.Perhaps I should have asked you Kap for an under-ice tutorial.Anyway it was nice meeting you and I will pm you the links we discussed soon
