Default Die kleinen Boote...

A (photoshopped) screenshot of a type II, coming home from a succesful mission in early 1940. Hope you like it.

Nice.

I'm always amazed what a few filters can do.

Looks great! Of course it could have gone in the "Official, unofficial screenshots" thread.

A non-photoshopped image of a Type IIA having returned from the mission...

Isn't that a finnish Vessiko rather than a type 2?

Thanks guys, glad you like the pic. It's an older one, found it while cleaning up my HD. And I somehow totally missed the giant "official screenshot thread", my bad. Just browsed through it, there are some amazing pics in there. I'll post the next ones in the correct thread.

Hum hum...

The Vesikko was built by the Germans in 1934 as CV-707. She was the prototype for the Type IIA and is the only surviving Type II in the world...

I know.

But although there are only minor differences between a Vessiko and a Type II (the type II had a smaller sail, for example) , they are still different types, from a nit-pickery point of view.
