Default Modern torpedo versus WW2 destroyer - video

Thats not a WWII DD, its a 1970's DD that was called HMAS Stuart that just so happens to have been made out of Aluminium, not steel. How do I know, because HMAS Stuart in her day was Berthed in my home town, and she was sunk off the very same coast in a MK48 Torpedo Test Firing from the new Collins Class sub.

Thx Phantom II, I could not for the life of me remember the name of which 1 of the Collins Class fired that Torp.

I did a bit more reading up on the excersice, turns out the DE that was fired at is actually the HMAS Torrens (DE-53) River Class destroyer escort, and not HMAS Stuart (DE-48) which was also a River Class destroyer escort, hence the similiarities in appearance.
