Default Its disgusting

I have to move out of my home in a few weeks to go move in with my girl friend and ive got to find a new job with that, ive applied to go onto tottenham dust carts its a huge fall in wage to what im on now.

I earn £9.85 a hour roughly and on this job im right down to £5.35 an hour so that works at roughly £220 a week instead of my £363 a week.

But i was told i am entitled to working tax credits to make up for my loss in wage, however i went to the inland revenue and appernetly im not enetitled to naff all.

They said to qualify i must have either a child or my girl friend has to be pregnant, i must be registerd homeless or have a disability, or come from a forign country.

It amazes me how our own country a system ive paid into is now hading my hard earnt cash to some one who shouldnt be here and doesnt deserve the money, and chances are will never pay it back into the system in his entire life.
And im the mug for paying it.

Its just disgusting.

Tell them you come from Russia, that covers the foreing country part, then say you speak and sing like Lilly Allen, it's a sure pass on the disability requirement, and finally search inside the nearest hospital's trash bin for an aborted baby to insert up the Uterus of your girfriend.

Oh, and show up with a big card-board box under your arm and tell them they didn't accepted to register you as homeless because of this mobile home.

Socialism sucks, unless you're lazy or unfortunate, then it pays big dividends. If you're hard-working, smart, and successful, you are expected to hand over more in taxes to pay for them have-nots.

What is "tottenham dust carts" and why not go to college, you don't have any kids yet, do you?

Going to college in the UK costs a lot of money and you need some good exam pases to get in to a course. As far as I know no college is yet running a vodka tasting appreciation course.Kap if I were you I would be down the RN careers office tomorrow morning!

Yeah agree with Neal on this one. Kapitan go to what we call over here University or polytech, and learn a trade - maybe you could become a professor in Russian History? but anyways have a trade under your arm pays good money, for instance electricians get $55 an hr over here, starting rate as soon as your qualified is $28 an hr. but whateva your choice is your have to go apprentice for a few yrs meaning your pay will be low, yet at the end of it all your be self-employed have a trade and slowly watch your salary get higher and higher.

I understand and I share your opinion that white collar crime is just as wrong as any other. The Big Boys don't always get away with it. It's a point of pride with me that our society and business world strive uphold ethics and law.

But what has that to do with the dole, mate?

just to say how unfair the governement can be sometimes, they suck us dry with all the taxes and claim till the end of our days.

just an example my dad has an Pension (or how do you spell that when you turn 65 and get money that u saved over the years) and now the taxes are already claiming 80.000 euros he's not even 50 yet and they are claiming already because we moved from Holland to spain and thats how they started to sending letters that they claim that money....(its a taxes bureau in holland) because they are afraid that they dont see any money because we moved to spain.

Kapitan, a bit of friendly advice mate:

Working tax credits compensate low earners, they don't automatically make up for a cut in wages when you move job.

See this page for more info: http://www.direct.gov.uk/MoneyTaxAnd...xCredits/fs/en

The Inland Revenue deal with your Income Tax only - they have absolutely nothing to do with benefits - so don't go to them for advice. (Edit: I may be wrong on that one, they may deal behind the scenes with the tax credit but the point of contact for advice is as per the webite, not just your local Inland Revenue Office.)

That sounds more like Child tax credit - see the link on the page I've posted earlier.

Those are different benefits again, see link above.

I'm no expert on this (I've been lucky enough never to have to claim benefits) but I'd suggest giving the official websites a good going over, then contact someone at the appropriate authority if you think you've got an entitlement. Bear in mind that you've chosen to move home which has meant a change to a lower paying job - it's not the government's responsibility to keep you in the style to which you've become accustomed.

As for the whole 'foreigners are claiming all the benefits' stuff - sounds like the standard crap that's doing the rounds in this country at the moment, fuelled by rags like The Sun and the Daily Mail. Forget it and look out yourself - too many people look for someone else to blame and it's all too easy to jump on the immigration bandwagon.
