Default Lost my stuff

Hi: Yea, I took my computer into the shop to have them format my old drive C 'cause Everything was now on drive D. I left the computer there while I went to the post office and when I come back, you'll never guess what the guy did

He made my drive D into drive C and made my drive C into Drive F and therefore I lost all my stuff that I had in widows media, etc. and my desktop themes.

I had a desktop theme something like this one:
http://img241.imageshack.us/img241/6330/sub5iy6.jpg

but when I picked it up from whereever on subsim the picture was 800x600 jpg. It was something like the one in the link, but the dark image of the sub was over more to the right edge and if I remember properly, it was a new morning with sun coming up. Where can I find it?

Umm that sucks man.

But why did you take your cpu to the shop to format the drive and not do it by yourself?

Bad things happen when you let someone else mess with your computer..

Oh man, sorry to hear that Rob.

And after all we tried to get you running again too. Well, at least you know what to do for separate installs. If you need the list of the mods I'm using again, I can send it. No problem. I even have a SHIII wallpaper you might like.

Arrgh!! Sorry to hear that. Well, I can't play at all right now due to being homeless, but that's an old story. Once I get set up again we can both laugh; right now we can cry on each others' shoulders.

Best luck getting sailing again.

Steve? You're Homeless? Holy Crap. Where are you? If you are here in styria, you can come to me.

rob,

Get some skillz. I would never let anyone on my Comp, the only thing these so-called technicans can infact do is, with guarentee, mess up your system totally (Including BIOS :rotfl within 3 hours.

Thats why i do everything myself. :p

No, I'm in Salt Lake City, Utah, USA. I said it was an old story because I posted it on the General Topics board when it first happened back in July. I have a roof and food (living in a shelter) and I'm working toward getting a new apartment. As I've said many times my main complaint is not being able to play SHIII.

Can't you boot your cpu from the Windows disc and format the drive thro there?

Thats one thing that comes to my mind.
And yes very sorry to hear that you lost all your files.
