I'd like to try SHIII again after a year or so. Follow me.
Uninstall everything, SHIII, mods, etc. Reinstall SHIII. Install patch 1.4b (there is a problem here, trouble with a help file, won't install) But if I can get past that what next. Then install SubCommander. Would like to run training missions for maximum points. Then GreyWolves. And out to sea. Seem right? What happened to Real U-boat? Worth it? |

1)Unistall everything.
2)Go into program files and find the UBI/SH3 folder and delete it - VERY IMPORTANT. Prolly why you are having install troubles now. 3)Load game 4)Patch to 1.4 5)Install GW 6)Install Commander last or make sure to roll it back before making any changes In that order As for RUB. Most of that stuff is in GW. Be advised, with changes in GW you will likely not do well on the deck gun lesson in the Naval Academy due to your shells being less effective. Another nice mod is Drifters Realism mod. It lengthens the repair times (no more insta repair) Improves escort AI and changes the sub damage model so you will be more likely to sink from flooding as opposed to getting the insta death screen. Very cool ![]() |
