Game difficulty options.

Hello guys, Ive noe just about cracked tracking ships manually but when I select *NO MAP UPDATE* in the options, the difficulty level doesnt increase? I would have though this would be a big increase in difficulty seen as you dont have a 24hr satellite beaming a ships location to you any longer. is this a bug or is this correct?

Also noticed that with GW, I am unable to choose any realism options.All option choices maintain "0" realism. Any help?

It's probably a mod that you're using, some of them change the realism setting of the no map update option to zero. RUB and Grey Wolves do this, so you can play with the auto updates on and still "pretend" to play at 100%.
