Default Why you shouldnt drive without the correct papers

Today i was loading on golf 1 a glass collection truck, we was traveling along nicely done our route nearly finnished ahead of time, we then came off the main road and went down the rural road to start the 2nd part of our route.

We had just turned the corner when this ford fiesta came skidding towards us brakes full locked, our driver tom swerved and thankfully the other guy only hit our tyre. however...

When we got ou the guy started giving it all the attitude but quickly shut up when the welsh wizard started shouting you better calm down before we get there, so the guy backed off.

Our driver then asked him for his insurance details and guess what.........

eeeerrrrrmmmmm its my car but eeerrrrmmm i havnt got a licence and im not insured.

So we called the police and to cut a long story short the guy is now facing the following.

Theft, dangerous driving, speeding, driving without due care and attention, and also driving without a licence and whilst being un insured.

The guy is 17 years old and is now facing 2 year ban costs to the damage to our lorry and maybe even 6 months inprisionment.

The car is virtualy new and i can tell you its a total write off because the lorry acctualy ran over the bonnet the engine is now nakerd the axle is collapsed the entire front wing bonnet door radiator wheel brakes and bumpers are completely destroyed.

The guy later admited that he was doing 70 and mesurements of his skid marks reveled he hit our lorry at around 40mph.

So if your impatient and want to drive and think this wont happen to you please do think again because this guy was lucky hitting our lorry he was lucky that he didnt hit the bigger lorrys and at that speed hiting another family car he could have killed some one.

SO TO ALL THE GUYS ON SUBSIM WHO CANT DRIVE YET OR LEARNING PLEASE DONT DRIVE UNLESS YOU GOT A LICENCE !!!!!!!

Meh, all he'll probably get is a slap on the wrist and a ban and possibly given points on his provisional. Were it you or I speeding by a few miles per hour it'd be fines this, points that, the whole shebang.
Still I suppose his insurance (when he finally gets another motor) will be about a million quid :rotfl: as nobody will trust him behind the wheel of a car as a 'safe bet' - If only insurance companies only stiffed people like him and not the rest of us...
I guess it's a shame he didn't run into the back of your lorry, perhaps then you could have given him the privilage of a front row seat as you fed his car into the crusher bit of the dust cart :p

He almost had the privlage of going under our front wheels if it wasnt for tom swerving then it would have been head on.

Thankfully its only a 7 tonne glass cart and not a 26 or 33 tonne dust cart i even said to the guy if it was one of our charlie dustcarts then you would still be in the car and we would be cutting you free.

Speeding on rural British roads? He deserved to die. Find an approapriate safe track. Long and wide straight highways.

My friend's uncle (Hugh Grant) takes him at 100 mph down those kinds of roads in his Aston Martin . I'm surprised he's still alive.

Out of what already said about drive license and speed limit, anothing key point here is about driving without insurance.

Someone thinks that it's just a minor fault, and a manner to save money; according to local laws, the first thought sometimes is right, the second never.

The little money saved on insurance often drives to a total financial disaster, when you have to pay by your pocket for a really serious car accident.

Yes quite true and when its not just your car you managed to wrap round a tree, it could be that your paying for other cars if it was your fault, now immagine a six or more car pile up you would have to pay for them cars either to be repaired or a new one and tow charges for them.

Going to cost alot of money.

Peeeew. I can tell you, if you can't drive, don't try it. At least, not on the open streets. I must say my Driving test will be very easy...

Nice Private Road...

But still, i would never try to Drive on a "Real" road without license. It's just Stupid as hell, and the Guy deserved it. In a Car you can face many dangerous obstacles, but the biggest one, is Stupidity.

Insurance doesn't hurt very much, but can save your ass.

I wonder how he is going to pay for it? The car wasn't his so someone lost a pile of dosh there.

Bloody teenager. I tell you, teenagedom is a disease. Some of them get themselves killed in that period due to this affliction clouding their eyes and better judgement. Unfortunately some get OTHER people killed by accident. I wonder why you even ALLOW males under 30 a permit to drive a car with more than 35 hp.

A petty show of power. It is like mooning. Typical for a teenager with no real power. Would I ever PM you? Unlikely.

No because I'd probably have sent all the flippant teenagers nutsy enough to do such a thing into reedumacation camps. Here I would turn them into model citizens for when they eventually would be released, aged 24. Perhaps they would then also have matured mentally and meek so they could drive a car, without being a permanent threat to their fellow human beings.

And I who thought you WERE joking already O.o Well I was, guess it takes a few more years below the belt to spot old people humour, huh?

What I would feel? Does it matter? I really don't care how people feel, as long as they don't drive recklessly. Unfortunately there is a direct connection between being male, being under 25 years old and being hopelessly unable to drive a car without breaking it, oneself or someone else in the proces. Ask any insurance company.

Ive passed my test i can drive, i dont do rediculos speeds seeing as i dont need to, i dont go mad because again ive got no need to.

If you up the age of driving to 30 your just going to have one big problem for a start there would be a massive increase in the amount of people using the road uninsured and without a licence so you just made that problem even bigger.

HAR HAR HAR!

So, you really think we wouldn't defend ourselves? Please, get President in the Country were you are, i'd be Glad the be the Leader of the Revolutionary Opposition there then. I am sure i have many who Follow me, in such a Regime. It's like Naziland 2, just that instand of Jewish, young people are the ones in Camps.

We don't want old Strange People to tell us what we shall do or do not. But i don't care, the revolution is Coming. Not with Force, but with other Means. Look what changed from the 50's to today. For you, it changed to the Worse, for us, to the Better. You can't stop it. Give up now, were you still have a chance to do.

Of course it does. With such views, you make us pissed. Angry. Those People with Commie stars on tier Hats and Che T-Shirts might look Harmless, but they aren't.

In a world like you want it to be, your Whole Intelligence Computer system would be down it days. Hacked. Because you old ones aren't able to secure a Computer system without help from us.

Or do you want to Re-Invent the Typewriter? :rotfl:

There are many like this, that is true, BUT there are exceptions. You do like everyone under 30 is a Dangerous Criminal. You are even more worse than STEED.

Please, take a Hammer, and do yourself and the Rest of the World a Fafor. Smash your Modem.

Thanks god that Companys, like that British one, stop selling Internet to Old People unless together with someone younger. It's just Irresponsibly to let such People write thier Views from the 50's online.

Kapitan is right, we jet wait to do such things like driving till we are 18, but with an age like 30 that seems out of reach, we would just drive on. We don't Really listen to your Sh** jet, much less we would do with such Laws.
