You mean guys shouting and an officer telling them to shut up after a torpedo hit ?
Thats something like this: "Jawohl wir haben ihn, wir haben" and officer says "schleisse" or sth ? So thay would mean in englis: "Yea we've got him, we've got him" and officer: "silence" |

Jawohl Henry, that's the one. I've been racking my brains out for that.
Thanks |

On a sidenote, even the fact that I''m German prevents me from using German translations in just about any game, also SH 3. They are often poorly made and outright annoying. I wonder why they don't recruit someone to do this properly instead of using this dreaded babelfish or whatever... ![]() |

The sound is from Das Boot, the crew cheers and the officer shouts 'silence!'.

Thats cool to know!
Now you raised the issue, I'd love to know what the crewmen say when the boat is being attacked by a ship, they say two phrases in german which I don't understand at all... any help? Would be great to have the texts in both english and german, so we would develop our "german ears"!! ![]() |

Yes have a German do the speach, but make sure it's from the period, without modern slang terms, like the old EAW had the Luftwaffe pilots using Mayday when hit and whatnot.
