UPDATE: This man is a hero. He should be given a position of great responsibility in some security agency.

For those of us who are stingy with their downloads, could somebody please explain what it's about?

I sent the link to my congressman and senator(Lieberman). Ought to send it to McCaine too! This guy is what I would call a patriot. Hope he comes out okay.
The video has had over 77,000 views so it's going pretty hot.

It is NOT boring to listen to if you understood what it meant.

In summary he's saying that because some asshat in the upper ranks of Lockheed Martin doesn't want to fix several glaring safety and ant. security issues in the new boats they're putting in the water and becasue the ineptness of the beaureaucracy is unable to do anything about it that Lockheed Martin is putting the nation in danger by exposing our vessels to weak spots in their defenses, security cameras, and exposing our communications by purposely using un-shielded comm cables. Thereby allowing anyone with a plastic dish and a toy microphone from Matel toy Co. to listen to security sensitive comm.

This man's logic sure is bizzarre. Nobel? Very. But picking his battles better may be a better option.

Hmm will have to wait until I get BB back before I can watch.
On an offshoot, if he is talking about using unshielded cables I doubt it is to do with secure comms or not. Shielding on comms and instrument cables isn't about stopping people listening in, those comms should be encrypted anyway, shielding keeps out the interference from other devices. Unshielded is cheaper. So the result wouldn't be people listening in on your comms but inadvertanly some fisherman could be interefering with your comms circuits by using his CB.

Anyway will pass judegment later. Hope he has a good insurance policy to cover his mortgage when his job is gone.

Well, there could be a real risk.

Perhaps he should have asked for a lawyer BEFORE making his statement. Now he risks getting charge with treason for putting such damaging information on the web for the WHOLE world to view. Someone with connections to Al-Queda may see this and go out and sink a few US Coast Guard vessels due to his lack of tact? Bad choice dude!

I know he mean't well, but still he is screwed now. No lawyer would want to represent him against the US government. The government hardly ever loses a court case, since THEY own and run the court. Poor idiot! He should have used the right channels and gotten a lawyer to represent him on TV in his stead. This would have gotten the message out and saved him from legal action against him.
