Hunting Season in London?

London's rat population has exploded, time to get your guns out and start shooting the vermin. Poison and gas is not working so it's time to dust of of your shot guns and blow those rats away. I declare hunting season is open.

The super rat is here bigger and stronger, we were warned by the Author James Herbert (The Rats)

Shocking news

Quote:
One Rat For Every Human In Britain

Friday August 25, 12:27 PM

A stuntwoman has covered herself with 50 hungry rats to highlight how food litter is contributing to Britain's growing rodent problem. According to Keep Britain Tidy we now have a population of more than 60 million rats - one for every person. The event in Golden Square, Westminster, is part of a new campaign to encourage the public not to drop left over food.
Sporting a yellow Keep Britain Tidy T-shirt and hot pants, the woman crawled into a perspex box accompanied by layers of food.

According

to Keep Britain Tidy, 15 million people are boosting Britain's rat problem by dropping food such as burgers, chips and kebabs.

But fast food lovers are not the only ones to blame. While some think by dropping biodegradable fruit peelings they are doing a good deed, they are actually doing more harm.
As most food gets dropped on pavements at lunchtime, the food breaks down on the concrete leaving a dirty stain and a mushy meal for vermin.
Alan Woods, Chief Executive of Keep Britain Tidy said: "Food litter is a big problem on our streets. It looks a mess and attracts pests - expanding the population of fat rats to 60 million.
"People think it's only boozed-up revellers chucking their chips and burgers after a heavy night out that is causing rats to come out of their sewers and roam the streets.
"Others are also doing their bit to scruffy our streets by dropping their fruit peelings and left-over lunches."
