Default Weird choppyness problems

Good day fellow Kaleuns.
I have a slight problem with my game.I don't really know how long ago this started happening ,but I haven't really started noticing untill now.
So,sometimes, when I go into my radio-room or bridge or even the command-room ,the game starts to go reeeal choppy.Sometimes, this also occures when I'm in the crew management screen, and the only way the game goes back to normal FPS is by alt-tabbing in and out of the game.I don't know what's causing this.It happens with both GW and NYGM mods, but only SH3 has been the only game so far this has happened to me.
Anybody have any ideeas?Thanks!

Only things I can think of

Make sure your video drivers are up to date.

Check on background tasks and try to eliminate unecessary ones.

Check your direct X is up to date.

I still get this once in a while, "very strange" but only every now and again, I think something is trying to start in the background that I don'T know about. :hmm:
