gramophone files in GW

Do the gramophone files change depending on variablies in the GW mod (year, etc), or are they static?

I ask because if they don't change I want to change the sound files to my liking, adding news reports, etc. Also, I forgot to dump the existing files in the gramophone folder before installing GW. Would this cause any problems? Thx!

The music files are static... and you can add to them all day long without losing what you've got already.

there are also two ways you can mess with the sort order. use a randomizer programme. I think there are some floating about in another thread; or just manually rename the list with a number as the first 2 or 3 (depending on how many files you have) characters of the name.

Other than that they are static and none of the mods i've seen complain about what ever you do in the grammohone folder.

SH3Cmdr has an option which if selected automatically randomises the gramophone tracks.

You can also use SH3Cmdr to add and remove tracks that you only want to play during specific time periods, by using the Date folders.
