Hi, getting back into sh3 after a long time. One of the mods I used to play with was a small mod someone made that radically increased the spawning rate and spotting distance for enemy shipping, and basically made it so that you spent almost no time at all looking for convoy contacts on the campaign map - just a choice of which to shadow. I've forgotten what this mod was called, but if anyone knows where I could find it (or which files to edit to make the same change) I would say: thankyou. I love the game but I really couldn't get into looking at a blue map hoping to run into something sometime.

DUDE. Go out to AL-38, and wait. There is a convoy every 48-72 hours through that bloody square. Until 1941, they go right through the center of it. After 1941, sometimes they go through the north half, sometimes the south half. Through 1940, many have one escort, some have two or three escorts. Mid-1943, they've got 4 or 6 escorts, but they are all complete wankers with the "stock" game. Troop transports out the gigi. T3's, T2's, Victory cargo's, C3's and C2's. Starting early 1942, you will never see anything smaller than C2's. |
