Very nice!!!. Would'nt it be good if it was possible for someone to put all these new ships that
are being built for this great game into one big mod for everyone to enjoy.
Or could they be incoperated in to one of the super mods?
Ofcourse the people who mod the ship would have to agree.

Every update of the supermods includes the new ships out at that time
They cant be expected to update every time a new ship is released - ships such as merchants can just be added no problem
The warships of specific type need to be scripted - especially historical actions

Cool - wont ask you for too many details as cant stand the wait but if you have a reference to the Roma in the scr using another ship its easy to change that to use the new Roma model
As it was to use the Hood,Prince of Wales and all the other recent released capital ships

Umm, BBW, its not a place holder, its the real deal.
Just as we have corrected the Hood (now a BC not a BB) and many other bits.

A place holder - Is a ship/model used for the short term to enact the part of the required ship/model. In GW there were a few place holders, we have so far endevoured to replace as many of the place holders as we can in the Sea folder/Roster Folder and ergo the Campaign files.

We have also endevoured to correct as many of the buggy ships as we can.

Well thanx for the info and explanation
Wasnt implying the GWX would be full of "place holders" but as it adds a lot more to the med and "East" thought maybe the Roma would have been in there as, as far as I am aware, there is only a generic Italian BB around at the moment

Will shut up and wait for the release :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl:

EDIT
Well that answered that lol thanx Pants

bigboywooly i think you misunderstood me i don't mean that everytime a new ship was avaliable for the game that the supermod teams should change there mod to add the new ship. That would be stupid and they would im sure never get any work done on there next mod. I just thought that there was a lot of new ships around and it would be a shame not to get them out to as many people as possible, and if there was a way to include them in a one of the super mods up coming updates. It would add more to everyones game.

I agree
Not sure which new ships NYGM added to its latest release but from what I have read so far there will be quite a few new ships in the new GWX release
Uboat War Ace Campaign - Version 1.8 also includes a lot of the new released ships
Besides you dont need to have them added by a supermod - add them yourself
I have every recently released ship in my GW install - certainly adds variety

One incredibly beautiful ship. The red stripes in the bow, the low after-portion with the planks - just gorgeous.
