Raises a few eyebrowns but if you realy want to protect yourself financialy never use your cards even the chip and pin ones ! they are no way safe!!!

On my computer i do have equipment to read change write and code cards including chip and pin cards i can make several copies of your bank cards go into a bank say my card isnt working can i sign for it, it does work done it myself on my own card of course.

Other little things, dont leave passports or any documents hanging around buy a small safe to put them in a combination safe at that because i know how frustrating it is for a burgaler to try and break into it (he wont bother).

Back to the internet scams dont buy anything online and if you do make sure youve had a good look at what it is and they are who they say they are then send a postal order or cheque.

Forget plastic cards get back to good old hard cash which is a lot more safer than your plastic cards. XabbaRus, that has to be the strangest post I have seen to date.

have a bank account for online buying only with say only a couple hundred in the account at one time, so if you do get ripped off, its better to lose a couple of hundred than a couple of thousand.

And they don't ask for id to see if you are card owner?

Ok, if you weren't the cashiers cousin do you think they still wouldn't ask for ID? Or better yet is your cashier cousin in the habit of giving money to strangers without proper ID?

No and you wouldnt need ID if you have the card more to the point once you get into the chip itself the password is acctualy on there so you wouldnt need to go to the cashier just the ATM.

Maybe that's how it works over there but i just went to the bank the other day to get a cashiers check for a vehicle i had just bought and the clerk didn't even want to see my ATM card. I had to produce 2 forms of picture id and he checked my signature on both as well as the withdrawl slip against their stored electronic version.

Maybe it was just my particular banks policy?
