Default JScones... SH3 Com Help Needed

Jason, I just ran a patrol heading to ED99 from Lorient. Just to top off fuel I pulled into the Canary Islands to dock with the Corrientes. All went well for fuel but on statring the next patrol to continue on to ED99 I have Null for the patrol area. I changed it to ED99 hoping it would be possible to continue on. Now in there are no Mission Orders and all my torpedos I changed are back to default.

Now, would it be possible for someone to do a mod or could SHIII Commander be modded to allow us to continue a patrol this way? It would seem to be much more realistic if possible. But if not, no worries. Just trying to find out if it could work. Still using SH3 Comm 2.3 for now so not sure if the newest Commanders allow this. Thanks mate.

Default question

SH3CMDR 2.6 is newest; get it at the Jonesoft home page
There is a mod "SH3 Patrol" which allows you to change your grid from null to the original grid. I'm not sure that you will get renown for it however as the mod was made by the NYGM Tonnage War 2.0 team and they do't use renown.

Thanks Irish, I'll check out the Sh3 Patrol Mod. I have SHIII Commander 2.6 now and was planning to install SHIII for another copy to run GW.

Just checked this am and I lost the whole campaign I was running... again. Seems something went wrong with a mod I installed between patrols. Yes, I was in base but no big deal tho. I'll just start over, only in 1939 this time from a Baltic base.

Good news... campaign not lost. Restored from backup on external drive. Done automatically and didn't even know it.

Now one question. Is it ok to install SH3 Commander 2.6 over a previous version? I can find no uninstall for 2.3. Looked everywhere and just want to make sure I don't "screw the pooch".

Look in your Add/Remove programs in the control panel part of XP, it should show up in there. Be sure to save your SH3Cmdr settings file, this contains your career details.

S! HW..... no SHIII Commander 2.3 in add/remove. I'll save the necessary files and just overwrite it.

See you at our website tonight.

Uninstall found... I think. Located in the SHIII Commander file in Program Files.

I'm not going to mess with the intall I have already for SHIII, SHIII Commander 2.4, JSGME and mods I have now. Will do a 2nd install of all with latest of all and GW1.1a to C:/Drive/program files - folder I will make. Works like a charm and will keep it all separate.
