Default Grey Wolves Recognition problems

First off let me say Grey Wolves is great. It has turned SH3 into a whole new game for me. My only problems are with the damage model which I understand is going to be reworked for the next release and the ships recognition. My rec manual shows "Contact" instead of the ship type. After I ID a contact I hit the check mark but nothing happens and after sinking it, the type of ship isn't recorded anywhere. Even the patrol log shows it as "Contact". The tonnage and all other info is fine. Anyone else having this problem and is there a way to fix this?

Did you install the GW1.1A ?
If so install again - straight over the top of your existing one - and DONT check generic contacts

Hope that helps

Thanks BigBoyWooly. I'll try that tonight. Do I have to be between patrols? By the way I have been to Portsmouth, London and Greenwich several times and have had a fantastic time there.
