I was wondering if any other Kaleuns out there knew which type of shell was better suited for sinking merchants. Armor piercing or High explosives. The next time I get to base I may have to make some " modifications " I dont even use the starshells at all... what a waste. Any ideas which were more powerful? :hmm: I dont think it would be cheating if our commander gave us the best ammo for a certain task.

Actual Uboats carried a bunch of HE's, a few AP's, and zero star shells.
In the actual game, the AP's do serve to penetrate armor. I find I get the absolute best results when I lead off with a few HE's on the deck cargo, then a few AP's into the hull followed by HE's. |

Speaking of ammo for the deck gun, when you are at base where the heck to you choose which kind of Ammo to load? I was never able to find this screen
Any help would be appreciated Thanks |
