Missile Launch

Fox news and CNN anounce North Korea Has launched their ICBM for a test launch and it has FAILED. So much for the threat. Missile failed about 45 seconds in flight. Mutiple missiles launched toward Japan They are saying that 3 other missiles have been launched toward Japan! Were they shot down? Or did the malfunction? Is North Korea trying to provoke The U S A or Japan. I bet Kim what ever how flung suck dong is probley doing this

The two missiles launched towards Japan ditched in the sea, not the first time they've launched missiles at anyone near them.
And the Taepodong-2? More like Typodonkey

Still, I suppose the falling wreckage could pose a health risk....

Why is it a matter of time ?

Time gives opportunity, war is not the only result that time can give us !

Its only a matter of time before they have something reliable enough to strike, time brings everything time is knowlege knowing when the time is right to strike can be the diffrence between victory and defeat.

if we wait too long then they could have a missile system capible of destroying japan but strike to early and we could risk alot of bad publicity, but if we strike at the right time then its more favorible.

Judging by the almost perfect spelling ,and reasonably articulate prose ,I reckon this is a North Korean pretending to be Kapitain. They are sabre rattling, and they know that most of the world are curently concentrating on the Middle East. Now If the Koreans had oil it would be a different matter.

In a nut shell North Korea is just farting around and poking fun at the rest of us, so what? They are trying to show off, who cares, they are a hermit tin pot race.

I see, but before you said the WOULD strike, just a matter of time !

Seems you changed your mind because now you write:

Quote:

Hmm, many people stated the same during the cold-war. The said we should nuke China, Russia, Cuba, etc Yet we played a long game of threats/exercises/missile launches/spying/etcetera, and look what it brought us ----> peace with Russia and China.

I am glad we did not listen to the "lets nuke them" people. Worl War III kind of sucks big time you know.

Or World War III.

Coincidence, I just read this article :

http://www.g2mil.com/korea.htm

Which I find makes a lot of sense.

Any idiot with time on his hands might make an atom bomb. A genius with good materials and equipment might, possibly, build an ICBM...

But only a fool would fire it. North Korea can't win, they know that. I doubt that they'd even start.

I don't necessarily know that the test was a failure. It may have actually been an outright success. I am speaking of rocketry as much as I am speaking about politics.

They could have been aborted for whatever reason, although 45-seconds would be a really quick abort.

I am thinking they shot off all those rockets to celebrate the Fourh of July

or

They fired off the short range ones becuase they feared the U S was going to try and take out their long range rocket.

More wasted money by NK that could be better served by providing their people with FOOD!

It wasn't a failure, we simply shot it down with our still-top-secret space-based anti-missile lazar beam system. Let the NK engineers try to figure out what went wrong.
