There's a large gap between my ability to see a contact on the waterfall and the game allowing me to designate it as a contact. Meaning, even though there's clearly a line on the screen nothing happens when I hit the designate button. This got a lot "worse" when I installed LWAMI and its improved sensors.
I can get around the problem by switching the autocrew on for a few seconds, as the game will pick up the line as a contact. However, this leads to problem 2: Even if I switch off the autocrew, I don't get DEMON information for any contacts that were marked by the crew. The end result is that the workaround isn't much of a workaround. |

This is mentioned in the LWAMI 3.xx readme.

Yes, I saw that the first problem was mentioned in the readme when I installed it. I realize it's a known issue. But I don't see anyone discussing either this or the second issue in any of the "hey let's have this in the patch" discussions and I was wondering why. Seems like a fairly big one to me.
* edit * Oh by the way, love your mod. I thought the stock game was a little frustrating when I couldn't pick up a lot of things until I was practically on top of them. |
