The next update will have an improvement on the CA gages fixes, so technically not yet, but something like it will be present soon. The only thing I can't fix (frustratingly enough) are texture mapping problems.

I just got to thinking, and I don't know if this is even a possibility or just a pipe dream.
I know in Flight Simulator 9 the gauges and dials in the cockpit can be rather small to read. So instead of making them digital or something and ruining immersion, a lot of plane and cockpit designers have made it so that when you cursor over the gauge and right click for example it shows a tag that displays the actual value, be it heading or barometric pressure or radio settings or what have you. I was wondering since in SH3 it's almost impossible to get to a precise heading without fiddling around a bit if someone could make it so that when the cursor "mouses over" the heading ticks on the compass if a little tag or something could be displayed to show exactly what heading will be selected if you left click. I'm guessing someone else has thought of this before and that it wasn't possible, but not knowing anything about how that stuff is coded I thought I'd put it out there. The stupidest thing would be for someone to come up with a good idea and not have it ever implemented because he never thought to say it out loud to those who might be able to put words into actions. |

And it would be more realistic. Clicking on the compass is the equivalent of taking the wheel yourself; typing in the heading is the equivalent of giving the order.
