Figured i would repost this into its own thread since we dont have a current one going on it.
![]() My latest game has been X3 Reunion (not xmen) and i have been pleasantly surprized (as the demo royaly ticked me off with the constant attacks every 10 seconds making it utterly impossible to realy try out the game let alone learn it). X3 Reunion has been out for several months now, i only got it now as i was waiting to see if they would fix the major problems (and they did the game runs great and has been 100% rock solid, they also seem keen on future support and development). My only major gripe with X3 is they use #%@#$% starforce keyless security ![]() This is the X3 site http://www.egosoft.com/games/x3/info_en.php This is the forum listing for the mods and scripts available for x3 http://forum2.egosoft.com/viewtopic.php?t=96340 Most reviews available are not done on the 1.4 version of the game, The game is far more stable now (in 2 weeks i havent had a single issue), runs well on minimum spec systems. Only stumbling block is starforce.. |

yeah single player only, which is the only way as the game simply wouldnt be suitable for online play.
once you have the patches installed (game was rushed out through publisher pressure) its a very enjoyable game and the mod community is really getting the swing of things. requires long term investment though, your not going to get your hands on a capital ship without a few onths work. (or doing the missions instead of the snadbox mode)

Yep but a TL makes a good mini carrier base till then
![]() One of the best money maker's ive found for the least hastle is setting up a fleet of universe traders. But you need roughly 3 million credits to get fully outfited TS (which is the normal sized transport class) going, but once its up and running these guys can pull in alot of money for a very low startup cost. Stations dont tend to pull in quite so much i find for the startup costs, not to mention setting up a fully supplied factory loop can get overwhelming (and very expensive, and time consuming). |
