Default Heads up anyone around LHR area UK NOW

A380 just flew over our office at LHR aiport! :|\ :|\

Not that noisy at all. In fact much quiter that the 747's that fly overhead.

Thought there was a big plane flying over earlier, i live under the main flight path to LHR.

Didnt realise i most likely saw the A380

No it had the Airbus A380 logo on it's tailplane. This aircraft came from Berlin into LHR. One thing that struck me was just how damned tall the tailplane is on the aircraft. It really stretches up to a great height. Great advertsising space for the airlines.

I'm pi**ed off, I was at a meeting at Filton this morning, supposed to finish at 1145 so that we could see the flyover, but the meeting over-ran

Au contraire. It seems that the best advertising spot is right inbetween the wings. Emirates chose to put its logo there.
