OT: Nice Photos on Website

This may be old-hat to most of you, but I ran into a nice website with tons of high quality US Navy, Army, and Aiirforce screenshots. Just wanted to share.

This is a very interesting site,but some of the detail regarding early USN SSNs is missing.

Yeah, guess they stop at the SSN688.

What I found interesting was that on the LA classes, none of the photos (at least the ones I've view, I havn't looked though all of them) had the characteristic aft dive plane verticle fins like seen in the game. (The verticle fins fitted to the end of the aft rudders, like seen on the Ohio Class). The latest of the 688i, the Cheyenne, looks as if it has seperate TowedArray sails at 5oclock and 7oclock like used in the Seawolf and Virginia. http://www.combatindex.com/hardware/...ssn773_02.html

Here's another interesting site with clips of submarines. A little bit down is even a clip of a sub as its sail breaks the polar ice. :|\
