Question about the GW update...

Loving the GW mod. Anyway my question is this. Can I deinstall my GW Supermod with JSGME and then dump the GW 1.1 update data folder on top of the GW Supermod data folder in the MODS folder of my SHIII installation. JSGME is basically doing the same thing right?
